As a wedding videographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most beautiful and unforgettable moments in people’s lives. One of the weddings I will never forget was that of Evi and Giorgos, a wonderful couple who tied the knot in Portaria, a picturesque village in Pelion.

The wedding day began with preparations at Hotel Portaria, a warm and elegant place offering a stunning view of Volos. I filmed Evi and her bridesmaids getting ready in their rooms, while Giorgos and his groomsmen enjoyed themselves in the lobby. The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement, as everyone eagerly awaited the ceremony.
The Church of Agios Nikolaos
The Church of Agios Nikolaos was a short drive from the hotel and was a charming stone building surrounded by greenery. Guests arrived and took their seats, while Evi and Giorgos made their entrance with their parents. The ceremony was moving and emotional. I captured every smile, tear, and kiss with my camera, as well as the reactions of their family and friends.
Hotel Portaria
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests returned to Hotel Portaria for the reception. The venue was decorated with flowers and candles, creating a romantic and festive atmosphere. The couple danced their first dance to a beautiful song. Then, the party began with music, dancing, and laughter. I captured all the highlights of the evening, from the cake cutting to the bouquet toss.
It was an honor to be part of Evi and Giorgos’ wedding day and to create a video they will cherish for many years. They are a wonderful couple who share deep love and respect for each other. I wish them all the best in their shared future.
